Progress!

Milestone 2 for 512 is turned in. That was basically the reporting of our analysis and design of how we will pull together the data and present it. The project theme is the "what-if" creation of a wikipedia for cancer information (authored only by approved individuals though - not just anyone).

Now to get caught up on 501 Project (which I have sorely fallen behind on). This one is the collection and refining of data collected from the SEER website. We are essentially to go through a data mining process and then put forth our findings in a way that is easier to understand. All the while we are using the scientific data software we learned to use in that class. Electronic Lab Notebooks (Waters Vision), data management (NuGenesis), and graphical representation (SpotFire).

And then! Finish up an SQL assignment due next Tuesday. This one is a bit more complex, as he wants us to make good use of aggregated functions for a large data set. :P

But it doesn't end yet, after all that... I go back to polishing off the web pages for 501 project and send those files team member for him to write in the PHP and then upload to website. This had become not as bad as I thought, since I discoverd a template on the Adobe DW site to use. The unlikely thing about that was that it was written mostly in CSS div class code instead of tables. While I am familiar with CSS for stylesheets, and defining font, URL, etc attributes... I had to do a quick crash course on learning how to use it for floating content containers. Not to mention all this "spry" jazz C3 DreamWeaver is also pumping.

Getting familair wit royalty free photo stock websites was "fun" too. (really annoying how some claim to be free, but they are not)

no no NO!

Great... now I have guilt....

*cries*

Why do we do these things to our food?!

Especially food that I feed to my kids, thinking it's fair game and GOOD for them to eat. It just so happens that the aforementioned Del Monte Fresh Cut Green Beans Blue Lake variety is was Lauren's favorite. *sigh* Any sane safe detox ideas for 20 month olds?

*grumble*

Sign of the Times

Dude... I feel old now. Old, in techie speak, to see something that has literally caused me to open my eyes to a whole new virtual world of online connectivity, finally bite the dust. ;p

Geocities offically goes bye-bye!

I too was one of those who learned HTML from wondering about how to make my own website. Finding an online TMNT fandom was also to fault to this (Ring of Green anyone?) and wanting a place to post fanfic and fanart to share with all my new friends. Wow.... technology changes fast!

It's true, once places like ff.net, Deviant ART, weblogs, and then MySpace, FaceBook, and Twitter hit the scene... who needed a personal website anymore? Only the elite who actually had a portfolio and services to peddle, of course. I will admit, once my RL got so insanely busy, the ease of these online databases and social networking sites made my need for a website to post hobby stuff obsolete. Especially since I finally admitted I wasn't exactly up to par with the quickly evolving demands of web programming/web development that my brain had failed to grasp a few years ago. ^^;

Databasing and all that surrounds it seems much more digestable though (thankfully) than trying to decipher the MATH that goes into today's advanced web programming. I just like making pretty web interfaces that are easy to navigate... like playing around with the settings for my web log! :D

(..SQL, however, is starting to make sense...)

She lives!

Oy... it is amazing how much of my free time is munched up by schoolwork.

Thankfully, work has come to a screeching halt cause it seems everyone made the executive decision to make today an unoffical holiday called Fall Break. (one of which I didn't get cause IUPUI decided to start a week late). Nay... instead, we get midterms. -_-

Flu-like symptoms of last week, and the impeding sinus-blockage had finally cleared themselves without anyone here having to go to the doctors. Good thing, cause I really had no desire in what that would bring.

Yesterday was an odd day, news wise. Besides having some idiot for a truck dirver slam his tanker into an overpass bridge, and otherwise creating a huge firey explosion that ended up compromising part of that bridge (fortunately, NO ONE got seriously hurt)... the FFA (Future Farmers of America) kids who were in town weren't so lucky.

Many went downtown to see the Circle Center mall, and one 16-yr old boy was monkeying around on the railing of the third floor. He fell from there to the first floor (not without hitting the second floor balcony first). *nods* He was not in good condition when he when to the hospital. Then later that day, a bus full got into an accident. Fortunately, only the driver of the other car got hurt. A pity though, cause there seem to be a good bunch of kids. Dow AgroScience has also invited them for tours as part of their city wide tour of Indy. (What also intriques me, is that many of these HS age kids are girls now!)

One week left in October already. Wow. I still need to get some pumpkins to carve this weekend. Dunno if we will do the trick or treating thing this year, because Halloween falls on a Saturday. The church is hosting a party for the youth group instead, with more Christian focused activities. It also has become apparent to me that Koreans don't get into Halloween festivities either. ;p

ALl the same, I still bought this cute Buzz Light Year costume I saw that the second time around store. Josh thought it was cool, even though it lacked the wings and gloves and boots. Lauren will just where this pretty hand made shirt-dress with a ballerina type skirt and an embroidered pumpkin.

Hmm.. what else. Oh yes, the TMNT sale to Nickelodean. Hah... I really don't seem to care about this. It's bound to happen though... seems that way for many people in the business. In order to keep themselves out of a tight spot, they have to make these decisions if they want to keep something "alive". But Nick should treat em good.. afterall, it is the keeper of fun toons like Spongebob. ;p

bwaa-HAH!

Alas... FB!

The honest truth? I had signed up for a FaceBook account last spring (early May, me thinks). It wasn't until early in september I started to personalize the thing a little more and add some friends to the pool.

Tah!

The motivator was the happen-chance of running into someone who I knew from my church Youth Group at a Starbucks near where I work. Hah! Just when I thought I hardly knew/remembered anyone from my HS days. I guesss because those were the worst years in my life as far as social lives go, I decided to not stay in touch with those people. Until now, I went around and at least added the YG peeps I knew.

But then... it seems all my vetern TMNT fanfriends are also into this (and half of my FList too) and so, it's old-school times again. But... but!

I am so BUSY, I really haven't done anything more there (yeah, a whole four posts) since I set it up, so there's nothing amiss. Also still going to keep on with this LJ, no dumping it yet!

And one more also, just going to be thinning out the heard on my FList here. It's nothing personl, just need to cut back on people I am not really 'following' anymore. ^^;

bwaa-HAH!

Data input, information output!

It's been a slow adjustment, but I think I am all but cured of social internet addiction. Seriously! Just haven't the need or desire to type in blogs and the like lately. Mostly because my busy schedule does not allow, and that I realize if I am to get somewhere in life, some things have to go. There I times I do remember the good times of when I could chat with my online friends, and not feel that impending doom that I also have a list of other things that needs to be done NOW (or, worrying about 20 month old and and 3.5 year old rampaging around the house).

Nowadays, internet is just my info tool to find things I want to know something more about, be it from recipes to something more in dept like clinical trial relativity.

That, and I really am serious about dong well in my Health Informatics degree. I don't want to "mess up" this time as I did with my first two degrees. I really want to be somewhere in a career that I actually wanted to do, and studied for, by the time I graduate. Many of the advisers in this degree are aware of this two, also holding meetings with us on how to help us now in going where we need to go. You better believe I'm using all these tools to my advantage.

Currently, the concept of "Informatics" is still a very new field in the job market, so one has to know what current jobs are out there will open up into this. But it is a fast growing and demanding market. By the time 2010 comes around, it's forecasted that "Informatics" will become a listed career in most big job search sites (the government updates these cats every ten years anyway).

As described by IUPUI's website, "What is Informatics"....

* Creating 3-D animations to help explain surgery to patients
* Accelerating drug discovery through information technology
* Developing computer applications to manage disaster relief
* Exploring human interactions with computers, mobile devices, and robots

Informatics is all of this – and so much more. Harnessing the power and possibility of technology, Informatics turns data and information into knowledge that people can use every day. In the world of information and technology, it’s the bridge to all things useful.

Why my current interest is geared in the area of biomedical research, I am focusing in Health Informatics. This area also includes how hospitals and other medical centers handle the patient information, medical history of each, and how to communicate this between other medical centers while still adhering to HIPPA standards, etc. What this also means? Time for me to start cracking the whip in getting an entry level job of sorts to move int hat direction as soon as possible. (because waiting until after I get the degree, as I found before, is too late!)

This is where I reflect on the past, about where I wanted to go all the way in archiving that TMNT fanfic archive, with mySQL and a user-friendly search engine. And I just laugh at the irony. That was only a small scale of what I would be doing for the rest of my working life! (organizing collected data so that others could find it easier) ;D

Is it Hogust?

Heh... dude at work has a calendar with farm animal themed names for the months. ;p

Days are just flying by it seems. Vacation wasn't long enough, and last week was so busy it felt like two weeks! I was totally spacing it at times on Friday. Could also be the sinus congestion and headaches, and not going to bed early (so many things I want to doooo, so little time).

Pictures... uhm. I think I may have to bug SIL for the digital versions of what she took. She gave us the prints from her camera before we left. Hubby's pictures... I'm not sure if they are accessible. The card I assume they are on, is not readable by any computer. *sigh* SIL did get some really cute ones of the kids though. ^^

I am just impressed of my wild perilla (aka sesame, aka gaen NEEP!). It's a really tasty kind of herb Koreans like to grow and eat in their salad like dishes in the summer. I can not quite describe the flavor... something like a cross between mint and basil. This patch is almost as tall as me now! We've also gladly given many leaves to our Korean friends who don't have their own gaen neep growing. I think the rich soil and slow release fertilizer I added helped a lot too.

garden rambling )

School starts next week, on Wednesday. Wow... where'd summer go? I'm excited to go though, since these are the classes in Informatics I have been looking forward too. So curious as to what exactly it will cover, and meeting new faces on the same journey as I.

I am still beside myself for having all my classes, homework, and even parking paid for by this scholarship award I received. The craziest thing.. I thought they would just pay for it, and hold on to the rest, Nope. I was awarded $4 K a year and they are giving ALL of that too me, whether I had spent it or not. I mean... you should have seen my husband's face when he saw the refund check I got in the mail! I guess they weren't kidding when Obama wanted people to go back to school.. they are frikkin' paying US to! I'm doing the smart thing though, and saving all of this for any future school expenses. After all, there was a clause that this scholarship is not guaranteed for each semester, and may suddenly be withheld for whatever reason. So yeah... playing it safe here. ^^;

In the meanwhile, totally itching to get a better job too. Already got my resume revamped, and now taking notes on what it takes to land an interview in this tough market. Seems now more emphasis is going into the cover letter that anything. And knowing how to get said info to hiring manager in this internet reliant atmosphere.

In God we trust, because only He is certain of all the answers.

weee!

Oh... vacation!

Eeee... yay! Next week will be a nice week long vacation for me. One last blast before college starts up too. Happy for me the poison ivey rashes are clearing up on us as well.

This time, I actually planned to do something cool with it too. For the first half of the week, the family and I are going to to Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky OH. It's a cute little indoor water park designed with young kids in mind. Nothing too big or expensive for us, since the kids are still rather young. We'll be there for two nights, three days. Leaving eihter SUnday night or Monday morning, swining by Toldedo to pick up my SIL for her to join us. Tuesday wil be the full day at the resort, and I'm hoping all goes well. Kids stay healthy and no one gets hurt. It looks like a relaly fun place I'm sure Josh and Lauren will love. Those two really get into slides, swings, and water play.. so this would be a blast!

The latter half of the week is open ended. Like to swing by the Erie shoreline before we leave for some sights. May stay in Toledo with SIL for a day ro two as well. And perhaps go over to Chicago to go to the awesome Super H Asian mart for some things.

Looking forward to next week, either way! :D

uh...huh?

Itchy spots!

Let this be a lesson learned. Be wary of what one throws together in the laundry. And that men, in all their great half-witted manly need to conquer, aren't always the brightest when they aren't experienced in the ways of the wild weeds.

Apparently, hubby dearest had been doing some weed whacking (and I mean WEED whacking) without really paying close attention to what he was attacking. We are making a very good educated guess he got into a mess of poisonous vegetation of somesort. Now we (yes, WE) are paying for this.

It started out with me getting some kind of rash that resembled the spawn of eczema crossed with hives. A few spots here and there, before it set up camp all over my backside. Yes... a major case of WTF. This did not go away... when the old spots were passing on, new spots were springing up. I was first wondering if it were an allergic reaction to something I was eating, or something I had been wearing.... nothing different or unusual that I had done tough. Soaps and detergents were all the same. I hadn't been sitting anywhere strange either.

I should had gone to a dermatologist, instead of a general physician... because that doctor had said she never saw anything quite like this. But she did say it could not have been this, or that. And there were a few spots she agreed it looked like a poison ivy rash. Otherwise, it looked like hives that had been scratched a lot (which I had not, really... I don't like to scratch so much that the itchy spot breaks open). But considering the nature of a poison ivy lesion... hmm. The least she could do was give me a steroid shot to help reduce the itch and inflammation. And then, of course, to come back again in a few days to see how it goes. *sigh*

It wasn't until yesterday that hubby starts having similar rashes on him. This is when he admits to the weed whacking incidents. But they were more pronounced blister like markings on his legs and arms (not on his body). Oozing cause he scratched on them so much. Yeah.. now that does look like poison ivy. And of course, I imagine that's getting spread. But the funny thing.. he's got this after I got mine (he weed whacked twice, once last Sunday, then again Thursday).

So I think about the laundry again. I washed on Sunday after church, late, since I was too busy on Saturday. Normally I do the wash on Saturdays. And I had noticed one load smelling funny, like it didn't have enough detergent put in, or something in it really stinked of BO. Most of my undies were in this too. So... I'm taking yet another educated stab at this.. and thinking that there was some poison vegetation oils and pieces in there, that got all around... and somehow wasn't washed well enough to cut and dissolve the oils.

Either way... I'm staging a massive washing of things today. The clothes form last week, on top of this weeks pile, along with all the sheets and the towels. Yey...

Fortunately the kids hadn't come up with anything of this. They are just suffering from a random head cold.

hah!

Happiez!

Can you believe it? I got to see a new movie, in an actual movie theatre! XD I know, it's sad. We need to make more of an effort to go out and see movies, rather than doing it only once a year. But what's even more sad, is that it took me a week to get around to making this post! :p

The occasion? The 18th was our 11th anniversary, and well... my plans for it were all but blown apart when hubby had a touch in go with some sort of virus. It started out sounding like the flu Friday night (achey, chills, fever), but I guess his immune system was fierce defender, cause he was much better later on Saturday. Unfortunately, I called my parents that morning to to call off the lunch date I originally planned. But he felt bad I did all this, and talked me into just seeing the movie at least. Another change of plans, and we called our parents for them to come and have dinner with us, and then watch the kids while we catch an evening showing. Made some ribs braised in BBQ in the oven, which turned out pretty good concerning that they were frozen solid that morning!

Out of all the options we could have seen... three guesses on which hubby invited me to see. (that's the least he could do!) ;D

spoilery TF:RotF within )

I still can't wait for a good number of other movies to come to DVD. Star Trek, Wolverine, Up, Public Enemy... maybe The Hangover. Saaa...

Timeless music

When does rock go from being "classic" to "oldies"? Or will now and then on just be filed by the decade it was popular in? (Much like how Classical music is)

The things that occur to me when I realize the (rock) music I listen to now will be quite different to the ears of my kids when they get much older. Or if they will also find interest in listening to "classic rock" if it will even be considered that 20 years from now. Of course, there is always that curiosity to see how much more music will evolve from where it is now! ^^

ROTFage

(Even though I haven't seen the infamous TF:ROTF yet) I'll have to admit, Megan's got a point there... You go, girl!

Whilest Bay may be good at making ppl famous, he sure doesn't have the knack for making everyone else who isn't in a leading role, (or is 100% CGI) come across as natural talents. (*continues to pretend Sam's mother never existed*)

green!

Wowza...

So many things to talk about, where to begin! Gah.

I will say... welcome to summer... oppressing heat and all :p At least it stopped raining in buckets like every other day. My two wee bitty gardens seem to be growing well. I already have sesame leaves growing out every other which way! ;p

Even though I prolly won't be seeing the new TF movie until like.. mid July? I've still been living vicariously the coolness of a new TF movie in other ways I can with my hectic schedule. Snagged the original score... it's fun, not nearly as good as the first one. But still good. I will say, Josh has become very good at getting around YouTube and Netflix on our laptop. We've seen the TF trailers I don't know how many times now. But I found it most amusing that he went to all the TF toy reviews, just cause they looked cool. (I never have listened to those b4... heee)

Josh is now a Wall-E fan. Since I only have gotten the Netflix streaming view of this, we watch it on the laptop too. I really need to get a S-cable to VGA converter so I can watch it on the big TV. (because, yeah, we is too poor to afford an expensive HD cable connection) *sigh* That, and our DVD player for the TV is slowly dying. Bleah. I also had to YouTube the other features on Wall-E, since you don't get that with the streaming video. Burn-E, I highly recommend. Just hilarious, that poor worker bot.

just because I ramble on too much... )

Jun. 17th, 2009

bwaa-HAH!

Never would have thought!

A week or so ago, I found my raised bed I made for the onions and tomatoes to be tossed. Well, the dirt around the plants was dug up at various places. Most of the plants were unharmed. I automatically assumed it to be raccons, since I have noticed them rooting around the compost pile last year. I have no love to 'coons whatsoever, I will add! (I had to placate myself by thinking that they were going after any damaging grubs.)

Then it happened it again Monday afternoon, and then finally saw the culprit Tuesday morning... but was pleasantly surprised! It was actually a large turtle. Her back shell was about the size of a dinner plate, and I guessed it to be a snapper since she was so big. Of course, I told my husband about this, and he was right out there with a shovel and his phone (to take pictures of it). Moved her out of the garden with the shovel, and took pictures. He also flipped her over, by she seemed rather calm. Not aggressive as you would expect for a snapping turtle. I assumed it to be a "she" cause I had seen holes dug in my garden (left empty though). Her carapace was small and flat, and the tail was skinny even though it was long.

Hubby was simply amused that she made it all the way from the creek (or pond that was further away) to dug about in our garden. The worms and grubs must be good eating there or something! (and yet, hubby was mad that she could be eating up the earthworms too - ah well) Me, on the other hand, simply find this amusing. While I have no love for a 'coon tearing apart my garden, having a mama turtle digging aorund makes me more sympathetic. And hey, if she's getting all the onion grubs before they damage my onions, I can deal with messed up dirt. *hee*

oh slag!

Oh Hail!

Last night, my subdivision made the news! But not in a good way...

Fishers, Northside pick up after hailstorm

Baseball sized hail damages neighborhood ...aka, DUCT TAPE to the rescue!

Fortunately for us, our house was one of the few that had been spared. The grove of trees behind our house helped protect it from most of the hail. The homes that were sitting out in the right open, taking on the full force of the storm, were the ones that looked really bad. Even the windows of the many stores in this area were shattered, as well as many of the vehicles in parking lots.

But.. I mean, wow. What a crazy weather pattern we have this year. Even more so, just amazing how diverse the nature of each thunderstorm is. The beauty of Indiana, I guess. I was a couple miles away, picking up my kids, and all I saw was lots of rain. After the storm cleared and I drove closer to home, I noticed a news helicopter hovering over the area. Man.. everyone was out and walking/driving around our neighborhood to gawk.

The last time Indy had a big hailstorm was in 2006, but then, it didn't seem this bad. I have yet to see anything like this, where the hail just tears right thourgh the siding on a house! (makes you wonder the construction quality being put into homes these days though)

In addition, all the tree debri that the hail knocked down ended up clogging the grates to the storm sewers, and caused flooding in the streets. Many had to go find these grates under the water to clear out the leaves. I lived on a court, and our grate was right next to my drive. So I decided to clear that one out to let the water down.. it wasn't too badly flooded and Josh had fun helping.

Depending on weather today... I'll have to make time to rake up all the tree debri in our yard. But I'm still thankful that's all we have to worry about. Or at least, nothing immediate... the roof is still questionable.

May. 27th, 2009

no no NO!

No, I am not sick... srsly!

Yey... I am offically allergic to air.

This lovely pollen season is on crazy overdrive this year, many are saying. Normally, I hardly notice it, with the occasional sniffle and sneeze here and there. But this year? The whole nine yards. Sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, irritated throat.. and then, a cough that feels like the whooping cough. Very persistant, sometimes makes it hard for me to control and stop when something good gets my throat bothered. I really 'love' waking up an odd number of times during the night with the hacking.

And much to my surpise... it's ALL allergies. No infections to speak up (fortunately, I guess). Unfortunately, this means the Claritin geneirc is not helping me. Sadly, the Robitusim DM is just numbing it slightly.

So I end up paying a pretty penny for some prescription allergic meds, Allegra D and it's plain generic variety. As well as some Afrin to boot. Woo.. totally feeling like a druggie on that Allerga D! I made the mistake of taking it right before bed. Woke up around 4 am, wide awake with a million ideas running 'round my head. Definitely didn't need any coffee either this morning. Dude.. I best not be doing that again! ^^;

At least I'm not really sick, like my coworker. He got something resembling the flu, it sounds like. Bleah. Thus, I have the place to myself today.

May. 23rd, 2009

oh slag!

So close, yet so far...

This is the story of my life, always looking in the wrong direction when something cool comes along.

Yeah, sure... not as intense a TF fan as I used to be, so of course, I was just totally oblivious to the fact that they had all the Chevy cars that will be in the next movie down at the race track this weekend. Complete with life-size "statue" of Bumblebee. *cries*

Oh, the wonder and awe Josh would have been in for seeing that, the car and robot nut that he is.

*sighs*

At least we had fun watching WALL-E in it's entirety for the first time this morning. (Yes, I is sad when it comes to being current on movies -- generally a couple weeks, if not a month goes by before I remember to chase down all the past TFA episodes on YouTube!)

But I did at least know that Josh Duhamel was driving a Camero like the model that Bumblebee is. Shoulda known...

May. 14th, 2009

green!

Still alive... yesh..

Man... what is this thing called a web journal? You mean I have to explain in detail what I do daily here for everyone to see? *heh* Well, I guess my affinity for spending time on the internet has actually hit an all time low. It's so hard to just sit and stare at a screen when I have so many other things to do!

If you hadn't guessed (how could you), this is my week off from work. Stay-vacation of sorts, and aka best mother's day gift I could give myself. Five whole days of being home alone (well, approx 6-7 hours a day actually) to do whatever I what. My list was long, I tell you. Long. Garden stuff, reorganizing stuff in the house, gathering up some stuff to sell on eBay, painting a couple rooms, cleaning and washing car, washing comforters, get new glasses...

Sadly, I got as far as getting all the garden things done. I also unexpectedly spend about $250 dollars on various things ($150 of which were on the new glasses - the kids better not break this pair!) I also gave in and got a pretty blue and red male betta fish, to put in with my pothos plant clippings I got from work last summer. They were outgrowing the little glass I had them in. At Goodwill I found a nice large glass vase that also is roomy enough for a betta. Thomas looks very happy now.

Also have my raised bed for the garden half built. It's on a sloped hill, so one side is two boards high, while the other is one. Found some old 2x4's in the backwoods to use for it, but I had to buy a couple of new 2x4x8 for the length. Looks odd, the new boards paired with the old weathered ones. But the tomatoes won't care. They'll be happy to not be living on a hill where the downpours of rain won't be washing the dirt away anymore. Menards is awesome for having a sale on lumber and topsoil this week though.

Now to look out for some veggie plant sales. (or hope for some freebie plants at work again like there were last year!) Also need to transplant the onions into the new bed we sowed from seed this time last year. They are the size of big green onion scallions now. I decided to not sow any lettuce or swiss chard this time. Didn't get the garden ready in time, and also found it's hard to stay on top of it if I sow too much at once. I'll wait till fall before I sow more chard and radishes. Want to plant some garlic bulbs then too.

I really wanted to plant garden things along the sides of the house where the most sun was, but it would be some serious work. Aside from having weed n feed put on it, I would have to cut out the sod grass, then break up all the hard clay soil with compost and topsoil. And perhaps also built it up with something. We wanted to build it up with landscape stone, but that may cost too much. But even if we keep an eye for a good stone sale, then there is finding the time to get the van to haul the stuff here. (heavy!) and to laid it down and fill it up with dirt. So yeah, that project just keeps getting pushed down to the bottom of the list.

Bathroom still remains unpainted, as there is talk of putting a little door (aka, cutting through wall to other side of basement stairs) so it becomes like a laundry drop. The stair well to the basement is right next to the kids bathroom. Laundry machine is in the basement, so at least I get the clothes a little closer this way. But the question is when does this gets done now... hubby can do it, just has to find the time with the other contract construction jobs he's working on.

Alas... I joked with coworkers I would loved to have seen a movie this week, like the new Star Trek. But that didn't happen. Ended up trading that off to go with Josh to see the Children's Museum instead. Parents invited me, so.... *eyeshift* unless I just stick them with Josh and take off on my own! *hah* Not. ^^;

BTW... I no longer can tell if I am sick, or if I have allergies. All I know is that I'm coughing way too much to be anything allergy related. Bah. When will this pollen season be oveeeerrrr!? :p

Anyone else think this song from the new Lincoln commercial sounds way too cool? XD

work work work!

According to Josh...

I am also "Daddy". I can not convince him very long otherwise. ^^;

Lauren had her name changed to "Warren".

Police cars, ambulances, even the tow truck with a flashing light are all "Fire Trucks".

"M O P " was how he thought his name was spelled. (or it was last Thursday night)

Cars is "McQueen", Toy Story is "Spaceman", Monsters is "Teddy Bear", Transformers are "Robots", and Shrek is "Donkey". But if you ever ask him who's who in Thomas the Train, he gets all the popular characters names right every time!
